Sixteen Barboursville Lions attended this meeting. We also welcomed six guests. They included Raymond Harrell and Shaina Carter. They were accompanied by their mothers, Jane Harrell and Kelly Carter. The other two guests included Carolyn Cater and her daughter Jada. Lion Carolyn is transferring her membership from a club in Pennsylvania to our club. Welcome, Lion Carolyn.

Barboursville Lions Club Charity Golf Scramble:
Please note that the Barboursville Lions Club Charity Golf Scramble will be held at Orchard Hill Golf Course on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Lion Gerald Sturgeon is the chairman of this event. He is urging all Barboursville Lions to secure tee or green sponsorships from local business. These sponsorships are $100. The scramble will consist of four-member teams with an entry fee of $200 per teams.

***flags and etiquette booklets distributed and presented to elementary students at Village of Barboursville Elementary, Davis Creek Elementary, Martha Elementary, Salt Rock Elementary, and Nichols Elementary
